VBS3 3.8.1 Released

VBS3 3.8.1 will be Releasing December 2015.

The updated installer should be available in the downloads section by the end of this month.

Orlando, Fla. — Bohemia Interactive Simulations (BISim), a global provider of military simulation software, announced that VBS3 v3.8.1 will be available beginning the week of Dec. 21 to customers. Customer-specific releases will follow shortly thereafter. Customers can download VBS3 v3.8.1 at bisimulations.com/support/downloads.

“The latest version of VBS3 adds a new range of functionality including brand-new interoperability capabilities that extend the possibilities for simulation and training,” said BISim Co-CEO Pete Morrison. “This version also increases the stability, performance and versatility of VBS3 for our users.”

VBS3 provides an immersive virtual environment that helps soldiers train on tactics, rehearse for missions, and practice standard operating procedures. With its After Action Review tool, the software is designed to help soldiers learn to think, make decisions and improve communications before heading to the field for live exercises. VBS3 is used for tactical training and mission rehearsal by military organizations in 39 countries.

The latest version of VBS3 includes a range of new features, capabilities and improvements:
•   Expanded Administrator Controls - Allows administrators to “freeze” or suspend input from any or all players during simulation runtime. Administrators also now are able to restrict players’ access to vehicle positions.
•   After Action Review -Playback speed and time of day can be adjusted now in AAR.
•   New Weapons, Equipments and Mines - Includes new weapons such as the G22 rifle and M141 BDM16, new equipment like a chainsaw, and new mines and floating sea mines.
•   New Vehicle Models - Includes Sentinel R1, A-10C, AH-64A, JDAMs, and desert camouflage variants more than two dozen OPFOR vehicles.
•   Ambient Life Controls - Introduces a new slider to Scenario Settings that allows administrator to control and adjust the density of fish and birds in scenarios.
•   Human Characters and Animals - Now includes civilian first-responders and new animals including snakes, sheep and horses.

In addition to its robust scenario editors, after action review capabilities and massive content library, VBS3 v3.8.1 also comes equipped with VBS Gateway, which provides interoperability links for HLA, DIS and CIGI interactions. The latest version includes performance improvements to VBS Gateway, adds bridging functions and enables VBS3 to act as a CIGI host.

VBS3 also includes the simulation software’s new voice communication system, VBS Radio, which offers user-friendly setup of global, side, group and direct speech communication channels.

Nice everything but im worried because i cant see 3.8 links for personal users in download database , still 3.7 , this remember me the first day when 3.7.2 was released.

Edit: , ok end of this month  ;) i havent read the begining of the post

This is for the first file only. If you download the "Download all links as text file". You can use link number 1 from that. The other links work in the usual way.

This info is from me and not any "official" source.

Let me know how you get on.

I receive answer from Bisim , not all hasp dongles are updated , that is the reason because is not accesible for everyone , they ask me send my c2v file to update my usb key.
Everybody cant see 3.8 links on database  should do the same.
