Had a flight on the board for the DC-3 today that was to run some dry goods up to Whitehorse, along with some engine parts. I think there was even a goat back there but I can't say for sure. Could have sworn I heard it though.
Anyway we took off out of Yakutat about 3pm local time. The weather was pretty shotty on our side of the mountains, rain and low clouds but things looked to be pretty clear if we could get above it over the mountains.

Leaving PAYA

Got her up off the ground and making a turn, heading for ALATY as part of our route before turning towards the mountains.

Great flight so far. We are at altitude now and starting to get into the mountains. Well above the weather now.

Making our way through the mountains now cruising about 9000FT.

Really can't believe how great the clouds look with this new version of ActiveSky. The layering is something you never seen in the last version. At least I sure didnt.
Here we are coming out of the mountains. Nice to see a little green again :)

Getting close to making the turn for Whitehorse now. Just beautiful weather, getting into some clouds now but im not caring too much :)

Lining up on final for Whitehorse. Was a great long flight. I dont recall

FSX or P3D

OZx is proud to introduce OZx_AUS 3.5, our latest upgrade to the Australian virtual bush flying experience! This package includes over 18 new airstrips, a heliport, a 2016 listing of oilrigs and over 20 points of interest around Australia, from the harsh, sun burnt inland areas of Queensland and New South Wales, to the scattering of many Visual Reference Points (VRP) and airstrips around Sydney, South to Strahan in lush Tasmania, and right across to picturesque salt lakes in Western Australia.

From small bush strips like Quilpie and Marulan to regional airports such as Bourke and Hay, this package will suit whatever your taste is!

OZx 3.5 is the result of many hours of effort from our developers and testers. This package is a testimony to each of their efforts, and we all hope you enjoy this new scenery as much as we did creating it!

DCS: F-5E Tiger II by Belsimtek - Early Access

Belsimtek, a third party developer for DCS World has released an early access version of its F-5E Tiger II module.

For US $ 59.99, you get a study sim that is in pretty good shape for an early access version. With working cockpit switches, avionics and target acquisition systems, this is a study simulation

The multiple panels and switches will require some study time. But overall this is a simple aircraft and if you have been flying study flight sims, you can almost teach yourself.

Just like several sources account for the real Tiger, Belsimtek's F-5 is a very agile, fast and forgiving combat aircraft.
