Falcon BMS 4.33 - HARM Re-Training

I haven't shot a HARM missile in quite a while and after listening to Dan Hampton's Viper Pilot audiobook for the third time, I had to do it again.

Crossing into North Korea with two AGM-88 HARM missiles. Wild Weaseling is always a thrill.

Flight plan detail. I am going to engage a SA-2 at steerpoint 59 and a SA-3 at steerpoint 56.

Ready to go. I have selected the HARM in station 3 and I have prepped it against SA-2's. I have selected the POS mode (stands for POSition known), which is a pre-planned attack mode. In this mode, the HARM will fly to the selected waypoint (59 in this case) and from there will start to search for emissions from radars. Although I'm now in range to fire (below 60 miles) the SA-2 is still silent.

As soon as the SA-2 went live (note the "2" symbol in the RWR) I am ready to launch my HARM.

FS2Crew: 737 NGX Reboot Trailer (2015)

FS2Crew PMDG 777 Trailer (2014)

What is FS2Crew?

FS2Crew develops expansion packs for your favorite 3rd party and default Microsoft Flight Simulator aircraft, such as the PMDG 747 or Level-D 767.

The aim of the FS2Crew series is to let users simulate multi-crew flying in a SOP driven airline environment.

We achieve this end by embedding a virtual flight, cabin and ground crew into the host aircraft who behave in much the same way as they would in the real-world.

Because no two aircraft are the same, each version of FS2Crew is built from scratch on an ad-hoc basis and customized to work within the context the host aircraft. Given the tremendous complexity and sophistication of modern 3rd party commercial add-ons, we feel that complete customization from the ground up is the only way to achieve a high level of integration and to capture the nuances of each particular aircraft and its procedures.

The overwhelming majority of high-end 3rd party add-on aircraft utilize custom code and...

Steel Beasts ProPE - Kill Zones Should Not Give Options to the Enemy

In this fictional scenario, I took just 6 soldiers from the Ejercito de Tierra (Spanish Army) head on to an insurgent attack of a military installation.

Our vehicle was a RG31E with a remote weapon station. Our mission was to block the insurgents reinforcements pouring into the military base. Some of them already made it to the approach routes in front of the base. An extensive cleanup awaited.

The situational awareness for the gunner is poor, but I'm counting on the eyes of the commander. He sits in the front of the vehicle and enjoys a view of the battlefield not too different than the one from a civilian truck. In this screenshot, a RCL technical approaches at full speed on our 11 o'clock.

The remote weapons station has a target acquisition system with a laser range finder (see top right "RANGO 445L" which translates into "range 445", meters I suppose). Even when it is not the pinnacle of firepower, the recoil less rifle is a very dangerous weapon system due to its high mobility. In this image, it has been struck enough to go up in flames.

A technical truck with plenty of insurgent cargo...
