This detailed simulation of the F/A-18E, F & G Super Hornets for FSX, FSX: Steam Edition and Prepar3D has been developed by DC Designs development team after extensive research.

This DC Designs F/A-18 Super Hornet package for P3D and FSX includes the E, F and G variants in a total of nine HD liveries, with realistic user-defined payloads, front and rear pilot positions and a truly 3D virtual cockpit with custom-coded systems and avionics.

Among the features are numerous animations, including control surfaces modelled to mimic the Super Hornets 'active' fly-by-wire systems, custom moving map displays, fully coded Up Front Control Panel for navigation and radio, custom-coded radar for live target intercepts, MFDs and HUD with authentic layout based on the real F/A-18.


The Super Hornet first flew in 1995, with full production beginning two years later and the aircraft entering service with the United States Navy in 2001. Winter War is the story of the Soviet onslaught on tiny Finland from November 1939 to March 1940, at the beginning of WW2. Can the Finns hold beyond the reasonable and receive the long awaited Allied intervention? Or will the Russian bear crush them and force them to lose their border lands?

Winter War is the recreation of the war that opposed Finland and the Soviet Union between November 1939 and March 1940

The Winter War game contains three scenarios, covering different periods of the deliberate Soviet assault on Finland which lasted between 30th November 1939 and 13th March 1940, at the beginning of WW2. The world was surprised to see the resistance of Finland beyond the reasonable, despite it failing receiving the long awaited Allied intervention. And, to the general surprise, the mighty Russian bear was almost unable to crush them and force them to lose their border lands until it threw disproportionate forces to the front.

Prepar3D v5 Hotfix 1 Now Available

The Prepar3D v5.0 Hotfix (5.0.24.34874) is now available. It can be downloaded immediately from the Purchased Downloads section of the website.


The Prepar3D v5.0 Hotfix contains fixes for high priority issues identified after launch.

A full install of all components is recommended for this update. To install the update you must first uninstall your current Prepar3D v5 install via Programs and Features in Windows Control Panel. Each fix listed below is categorized per installer. Please note, you must first have Prepar3D v5 installed to utilize any of the standalone installers (Client, Content, and Scenery). The Prepar3D v5.0 update may require you to reactivate your product, however if you have an internet connection or have not made any major hardware changes between installations this should not be an issue.

The newly posted Prepar3D v5.0 (5.0.24.34874) Full Download on the Purchased Downloads page includes Hotfix 1.
