I really enjoyed my return to the field of battle with my old friends  :oldman rocks and some new ones.

We used the "save and restore" procedure for multiplayer games. It worked very well. Thank you to my fellow generals for taking the time to save and restore to allow me to join the battle.

I had the brigade under Clinton which had been held in reserve. I received clear orders from general neilnilly (cic). I formed up behind a tree line and used a small ridge to mask my movement to the objective. I observed the raging battle and waited for the right time to move in. I initially sent in some skirmishers to probe and harass the French enemy. It did enough to cause some confusion. When my ally withdrew I moved in. I kept discipline and moved cautiously. I was aware of the French cavalry on the hill   :Lancer . I formed a square with some of my men and this stopped the French horsemen. With the aid of my allies I pushed the French off the objective and secured it. I gave chase and they ran from the field  :Napoleonic soldier  . I also dislodged some annoying French artillery from the ridge  ::Civil war arty

It helped a lot that my men had a nice breakfast and were fresh  :sifone

Very disciplined and players and very fun.

Thank you generals  :Soldier_salute

Molto disciplinato e giocatori e molto divertente.

Grazie generali  :Soldier_salute

General Colbert we shall meet again.....
