Hello,

I recently finished this excellent book by Michael Napier and I can really recommend it to any Tornado fan. It goes through a Tornado pilots complete training in UK as well as flying in Germany, Canada, Sardinia and Red Flag. Not the Gulf War, but he was deployed in the aftermath and did some bomb missions to Iraq. Makes you really appreciate how well Tornado simulates the real thing; the low-level flying, the hours spent planning each sortie with exact timing, the missions where multiple aircraft strike the same target in all weathers and at night etc.
