I have to read all the sections more carefully. I've just decided to buy this game. I'll do it next weekend as I'm afraid that I may waste to much time if I buy it now. :Wag finger

IL-2 BOX is a great game.

I was hesitant to by the initial release but it seems that the game has matured. It's becoming a worthy successor to the original Il-2. The only WW2 sim I have now is Cliffs of Dover. The latest Blizt update is great but it has it's limitations. For instance flight model is not what I got used to when playing DCS.

It is visible even in the videos available online. :) Besides, I like flight modelling in Rise of Flight and this is basic the same dev team, if I remember correctly. This and DCS are the only two sims in which you have to apply opposite aileron in crosswind conditions. In DCS you just relieve the pressure off one wheel but in Rise of Flight I hit the dirt a few times.
I pay attention to this because I forgot about it once during my PPL training the wind lifted one of the wings. Quick reaction save the day (and the plane) but I remember about this since that day. 8)

I love the German aircraft technicaly advance and more powerful than most.
