I hope that is a French horse you are beating :clap
I am in.
Welcome General Berthier :bonaparte
Good battle yesterday and a good test too.
It's a shame ciampo dropped sooner. Probably would be more balanced.
I commanded the French, three infantry divisions, with Berthier and Colbert commanding a division each.
Asid and Fabian where British commanding one infantry division each. Asid was the CinC.
The battlefield was quite flat around the objective which was held by the British.
We approached from southwest, me and Berthier close together while Colbert was moving a bit more east and then moved to the objective from south.
I arrived near a windmill southwest of the objective, which was on a gentle slope five or six hundreds yards from British line. I set up my artillery and engaged the enemy.
North of my position, on the British right flank, I saw a ridge running west-east, which could be a dangerous position for Berthier's troops so I ordered him to move on the ridge to check enemy movements.
In the meantime Colbert came from south, deployed his artillery and he also engaged Asid's troops.
Asid moved towards Colbert detaching skirmishers to cover his right flank where there were my troops.
I counterattack with a brigade supporting Colbert's advance. Asid, with only one artillery battery able to fire due to my mistake when I restarted after ciampo's crash (sorry Asid), had to fallback pursued by Colbert.
Berthier was facing Fabian's attack on the ridge. His first line was beaten but then Fabian had to face Berthier's canister fire which stopped his brave men.
This gave my time to came in help with my second brigade and flank Fabian on his left. This was possible because I was in a central position respect Colbert and Berthier so I gave support on the flank that need it, first in attack and then in defence.
The battle ended here. Looking at the score we won but the British still hold the objective despite we have a numeric advantage of nearly 2000 men so hats off to them
Another fine battle :bonaparte
I really needed my artillery on my left....It would have been a good way to slow down General Colbert. I faced to Generals, Colbert on my left and Biondo. Colbert had a great strategy. The French attack which I faced was well co-ordinated. Good timing guys :notworthy
Ultimately Fabian and I held the objective but it was not easy. We faced some great generals :notworthy
Ho avuto grande fortuna ad affrontare il generale Adis che non ha potuto usare una batteria di cannoni.Ciò, mi ha dato grande vantaggio On ore al mio amico/nemico generale Asid :howdy
