Dogs Of War Vu

1) SITUATION:

a) Enemy:

   Opposing Forces have made a surprise attack from the north, and are now forming up in the north end of Langaa,
   and are expected to attack against the bridges with a mixed Battalion of BRDM2 / BMP1 / BTR80 / T-72.

b) Own:     

   Company Bravo has been overrun, and are moving to an area south of PL Delta.
         
   CO/C 1/C and 1/D are in pos. at PL Bravo. Should CO/C be killed, XO/C will become available.

   The remaining elements of Charlie Company and Company Alpha are moving north to a pos. just
   south of PL Delta to provide support for the counter attack. ( arrival in 10 - 15 min. )



2) MISSION:

   Support Bravo's move to the south.
          Delay OpFor's attack to the south.
          Start the counter attack when ready.


3) EXECUTION:         

   CO/C with support of 1/A and 1/D will provide support by fire to Company Bravo until they are south of PL Bravo,
          and then delay OpFor from advancing through PL Bravo, Foxtrot and Delta until the counter attack is ready.

   When your company and Company Alpha are ready, commence the counter attack through ( PL Bravo and PL Kilo ),
   and clear all hostile elements from the city of Langaa.



4) SUPPORT:

   ICM / HE / SMOKE   from two M-109 Battery's ( 4 plt of 3 tubes ).
          Medic and Support units are on call from a pos. just south of PL Delta when ready.


5) COMMAND AND SIGNALS:

   Codeword :  Whisky                   : Bravo Company is south of PL BRAVO.

   Codeword :  Red Merlin    : CO/C 1/A and 1/D move to PL Foxtrot.  ( Trigger 1 )

   Codeword :  Beer                 : CO/C 1/A and 1/D move to PL Delta.    ( Trigger 2 )

   Codeword :  Yellow                 : Counter Attack is ready.

   Codeword :  Red Fox:             : Start Counter Attack.  ( Trigger 3 )

   Codeword :  Blue Fox                : PL Bravo taken.

   Codeword :  Green Fox         : PL Kilo taken.

Apologies, but I have to leave to pick up my girlfriend around the time we start, which of course means that I will not be able to play.  :( If by any chance I get back earlier I will go online but it's safer that somebody else takes the CO position.

There were some issues in this mission like AI path finding (usual for SB). Missile teams had no ammo. This mission also had bad F.P.S.  :facepalm_smiley  . The mission was not designed for the latest version so maybe some work on the mission could change things.  :book

If I can figure out why my OBS Studio player is not playing out my recordings, I can add more videos to the website AND to YouTube.  This used to be Rotareneg's baby, but I can pick up the slack.

No one has really made DOW SB videos.

I used to stream them a while back but my pc is old  :oldman2
