I actually started this prior to starting the Su-27. Normally I don't start a model until I've finished one...which is why I haven't done any modelling in the last year because I hadn't finished the Su-27.
However, I had started this and then decided to take part in a Group Build "From Russia With Love" and so I had to start the Flanker.
So this has been sitting in the box - all primed (literally) - waiting for me to finish the Flanker. Now I have, I can crack on with this.
I'm looking for a fairly quick finish for this. Only a wee bit of building left, the painting and weathering and very few decals.

Right - all "touch ups" and brush painting done and tracks are on
The front has a slight "fit" issue. I knew that was there before painting and could've filled it, but that would've meant having all the road wheels and tracks in place and that wouldn't have been totally practical. The weathering may take the eye away from it

I have the following to do...
- Klear coat
- Decals
- Klear coat
- Weathering
Fantastic! If I had the time and know how, I'd use a model such as the one that you have built, to do a Laika-like or an Aardman-like stop-motion animated short film.
Very nice JD.
Very clean also.
I think you are gonna need a bigger shelf for these models :thumbsup
Thank you both :thumbsup

I wish I could have a bookshelf like that. But alas, I have six kids and those models would be destroyed in a minutes, if not seconds.
But wait !!! What is that on top of the shelf on the left?

Indeed it is the Enterprise - though it's the one from the new movies. I do have the Original Series one also to make.

Hi Judge Dredd
Very nice Challenger 2 (I assume it's a '2') tank. Look at its size compared to the German big cat! I can't wait to see the Chalenger's interior (bad SB joke here har har).
Regards
Frankie Kam
Thanks Frankie - it is indeed a Challenger 2
As for the size difference - there may be a scale issue with one of them. According to Wiki they are both 8.3m long (not including the main armament) and yet the Challenger 2 model is considerably longer.
The width for them is fairly similar and shows in the models - but either the Challenger 2 is too long or the Leo is too short :facepalm_smiley
This is the Leopard 1A4 complete with dirt washes applied. I thought I'd leave off the rust wash as it's unlikely (I know - I was in the army) that the military would allow an operational tank to accumulate any amount of rust.
So - this is just back off the dusty training plains of Germany
It started out like this
(http://i1160.photobucket.com/albums/q499/wmar1967/Models/Leopard%20A4/IMAG0535_zpsire3mygn.jpg) (http://s1160.photobucket.com/user/wmar1967/media/Models/Leopard%20A4/IMAG0535_zpsire3mygn.jpg.html)
and ended here

Thanks for sharing :thumbsup
Looks awesome. Much more convincing with the weathering/use added. Well done!
Thank you
