As a civvie, I found this interesting. No doubt the information here is woefully outdated as it was written nearly 33 years ago. LOL. Still, I can imagine the amount of reading and memorization required by a tanker. I find this typewritten manual surprising well-designed. It gives out information in bite-sized pieces. Each section is immediately followed by a mini quiz to test the tanker/reader. This was well before the age of the Internet and E-Learning. I am impressed.
