I have some wooded acreage behind my house. I have toyed with the idea of buying a military aircraft carcass and depositing it in the woods, then claiming that it crashed there on a secret mission, and the government refused to acknowledge the event or clean up the wreckage.

Save some time and money: leave the yard as it is, don't buy a carcass, but still claim something crashed there and the MIB cleaned it up and then "poof" wiped your memory.
