I am starting up a branch of DoW Air in the Pacific NorthWest.

It will be for :
•   Site seeing,
•   Transportation
•   Firefighting.

This is a small operation. A helicopter and a plane.

The Pacific Northwest (in the United States, commonly abbreviated as PNW), sometimes referred to as Cascadia, is a geographic region in western North America bounded by the Pacific Ocean to the west and loosely, by the Rocky Mountains on the east.

I really haven't much because of steam crashing so much, and here I got rudder pedals for myself for Xmas. I really liked Ideal Flight, it rememberd your planes location and conditions. But that doesn't work at all in steam. Tempted to delete steam and go back. I ran smooth before, but it was my older system. I ran into some activation issues with steam but resolved. That's why it would be a bummer to go through it all again!

A basic install is where to start. Adding a ton of addons/DLC's can easily break things. :smashing-computer

I have a basic intall and it works :thumbsup

Update on the fleet

Jobs in the area will include:
•   Firefighting
•   Delivery of goods/courier
•   Tourism
•   Travel
•   Line inspection.

The following aircraft are in the DoW Air fleet:
•   Sikorsky/Erickson S-64 Skycrane (water) (firefighting)
•   Twin otter (travel/courier)
•   Bell 206 (tourism/line inspection)

Evaluating
•   Cessna 172/182 (economy travel/rental)
•   Beech Duke turbine (luxury travel)
•   Bombardier CL-415/CL_215 (fire fighting)

Fire!

A call came in at 14:20...There was a fire approximately 5nm south east of our airport. Not sure what the cause was but I jumped in my trusty S64 and managed to put it out. I had 4 trips to the river to refill with water. It was a small fire on the side of a mountain. Maybe campers.....
