About This Game
Open world game, trading, sea monsters, rare artifacts, detailed boardings, tornadoes, forts assault, coop with 3 players, various factions with their tasks and features, three maps for discover, first person view... All this, and much more awaits you in this game.

Hey Captain! Now that you've got the Jolly Roger fluttering in the wind over your ship, you're ready to rove the seas, take on merchant ships loaded with booty and storm formidable fortresses. Set sail and get your hands on all those legendary treasures that are just waiting for the picking!
When we created Tempest, we focused on the most thrilling part of pirate life – sea battles.

As you navigate the dangerous waters of the game you won't just catch up with merchants, but you will encounter fellow pirates, creepy followers of a mysterious cult and terrible mythical monsters: Kraken, Leviathan and other infamous creatures.

Your ship – the pride and joy of any freebooter – can be customized in many ways. You are free to change almost everything – from the color of your flag and sails to the ship's hull and figurehead.
Of course, there are plenty of weapons to choose from for every battle, including cannons, mortars, flame throwers and so on. Also there are special tools ready to help you to rig the ship for any purpose. However, you can win the most valuable artifacts only by finishing the multilevel quests called "legends".

Big day today! Today we are laucnhing the hugest and the most ambitious update for Tempest and it's main goal is to make the boarding fun again!

What's new:

A total redesign of the boarding - dive into a full 3D action sequince and slice 'em all!

Ships are much, much prettier now - all of them were graphically updates to match the new boarding.

Added chase guns mounted in the bow and stern which shoot automtiaclly with chain shots.

We are still not finished with Tempest - more content to come!

Pirates, we are happy to let you know that today Tempest got it's new patch on Steam. Our crew is working hard to browse all the feedback you've been giving us to fix the most notorious bugs in the first place.

With this in mind the following issues have been fixed:
•   Ships sailing continuously to the last chosen point after switching to map
•   Emperor daughter does no gun damage during the land combat
•   While minimizing/switching to other apps/blocking the system music continues to play
•   After system has been blocked the fog of war hides the whole map
•   Waves graphical artefacts
•   No ability to connect to a private multiplayer game by using its name
•   Bugs while using gamepads
•   Localisation bugs

And now for more exciting news! The recent screenshot competition gave us a great idea which didn't take long to implement: starting today, all captains can access a special mode which allows you to stop in-game time and use the floating camera to make some mind-blowing screenshots! You can find the hotkeys in the settings.

Sure enough, we're not finished yet. Your feedback helps us improve Tempest every day. The new update squashes the following bugs:

•   interface issues on 21:9 monitors
•   ability to choose a captain when there are no pistols on the ship
•   visibility of obfuscation limits at the minimal interface size
•   walking around a galleon
•   placing two of the same items in a slot to upgrade equipment
•   shortened the quest for switching your location to the Jade Sea
•   actions performed on a second monitor won't minimize the game from now on
•   water flickering in ultra quality
•   travelling on land in store mode
•   quest box overlapping with its header
•   part of the junk sail has a black sector
•   the Spanish language didn't fit in the dialog box
•   fixed errors in tutorial texts
