Update
Rotar is awaiting results of in-depth tests. The situation was very serious but he has improved. Hopefully he will pop on and tell you as much or as little as he wants. He has his tablet with him so can get access to the forum.
We wish him a speedy recovery.
Thanks for the update Asid.
Hopefully he will continue to improve and get good news from the tests.
Will keep him in my prayers.
Thanks everyone! I'm feeling better today, but it's still going to be a while before I'm able to get around without stopping every 5 feet to catch my breath. I've got a significant https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pulmonary_embolism
Ouch. Any clue what caused it?
Ugh! Dude!
Well at least you know now what it is. Take it easy and no playing Age of Empires for a while!

Well get well soon...
How much can you do? Is fiddeling with the pc already tiring to much?
Hoping for a good and speedy recovery. I'm glad you are OK, and getting better. I will be looking for when you are online again.

Get well soon, Rotar!
Haven't heard from the doc yet, so not sure of the cause. I can sit comfortably, but walking 20 feet leaves me 110% out of breath, and thats with oxygen. But it is getting better, after doing exercises today I felt the best I have so far, basically completely normal.
Hang in there Rotar. A P.E. is nothing to wag a finger at.
PS-I hope the RNs take good care of you and are easy on the eyes.

It seems it started with deep vein thrombosis in one leg (that unfortunately had no symptoms) and then spread to my lungs. I might have a genetic clotting disorder (great mutant super power), but that test can be thrown off by massive blood clots, so it'll be a while before they can be sure about that.Hopefully not, I'd rather not be on anticoagulants for the rest of my life.
Ahh wow, well you are a lucky man bro. Might want to get a couple Lotto tickets this week.
At least they know now and can treat you properly. I have another friend who has a similar condition and he is still alive and kicking so hang in there.
It might not seem it right now but you are in the right place. Hopefully you will get some better news soon.
Keep in touch :)
