The scenario was designed for Brits to defend but I adopted aggressive interpretation of my orders. So, I crossed the stream and unleashed what became a total war with Sargon's division... I anticipated that British move towards east would open the southern flank for French outflanking manoeuvre... should Biondo not left, the outcome would have been even more in French favour as Asid would face coordinated attack from two directions commanded by human player each. Instead he "only" faced two divisions commanded by Berthier, that outnumbered Asid's division almost 2:1 in infantry, 4:3 in artillery and were equal in cavalry. While Sargon's division was significantly weaker than mine, I engaged my forces piecemeal...
So a few tactical glitches on British side, I think...
Good Game, guys... for next time I need to get scenario ready well before, with maps and oobs... so there is time for CinC to plan their battles...

My orders were to take a west route to the objective moving towards Wagnelee.

Need a replay! I think Berthier had a lot of problems coordinating the two division thinking of his position which, if I remember correctly, was the opposite of mine in our deployment (Sargon in the middle?)

I think the outcome would have been very different if you had been in the battle.

You're right, Sargon started in the middle (strong division) but then moved to the right flank - that's good, so I'm not that pathetic to not be able to overwhelm weaker division :)
