I put a post about that on the SB forum. I think it might be an old issue, but I don't remember for certain.

Makes you wonder what else is broken.....If this is a known problem then why not resolve it?

Is this not a professional product?

Speaking of Steel Beasts' handling of text, the Briefing section only allows you to copy and paste the entire briefing, it doesn't allow you to copy and paste part of it. :(

I have always pasted it into word, and then edited it. Then posted over the mission text, in the mission text file.

I'm having a little difficulty believing that Ssnake reads this place considering that he still hasn't replaced the MD5 hashes on eSimGames' download page: https://www.esimgames.com/?page_id=1390 I've already posted about the need to replace them with at least SHA-256 and what free software can be used for making the hashes and checking them (http://dogsofwarvu.com/forum/index.php/topic,3325.msg15505.html#msg15505).

To be honest it didn't bother me that much.
And ESims steel beast whatever or whoever has far more important stuff to sort on this platform.
Especially the interior of the Challenger 2, warrior and scimitar......priorities people

Any fix to this issue could be rolled into the GUI reworking that eSimGames is known to be working on. So it could be a while before this is fixed.

eSim do not have huge resources. That is understood. Other things need attention and that is understood. However, if this and other small things have been problematic for quite a while then it can get frustrating.

SB is still an excellent sim  8)

Yes. The primary thing that needs attention is transitioning Steel Beasts from DirectX 9 to something newer.

And Volcano admits this bug has been around since SB1. Letting a bug go 17 years without getting fixed is unacceptable for any software, let alone paid software used by multiple militaries. >:(
