There is one tactical shooter that was better than old school Rainbow Six and it was SWAT 4.
No other game was as tactical with the level of command that SWAT 4 was. Well until yesterday it has been very very hard to find and if you did find its likely that it would not run on a modern system for you. Well like GoG has so many times they have fixed that and released SWAT 4!
Not sure how many of you care or liked that style of tactical shooter but I wanted to point it out in case anyone else here spent countless nights playing this game or doing terrorist hunt in R6 back in the day. SO! good and for $9.99 its a no brainer! Oh and MP works! I have the instructions for making it so if anyone is interested. :)

I was a R6 junkie but never got into SWAT though thought about it several times.
Thanks for the HU! I am sure it wont work on my W10 rig but it did bring back fond memories.

Rinix thanks for the heads up on the mod. Got it installed and its nice because it adds some resolutions to the game menu and mainly it combines the two campaigns into one.
Very cool.
Cougar, ya man it works great! Havent tried it MP yet but there are people playing in the server list.
I too was a R6 junkie but always wanted SWAT's command menu/system in R6. So much better.

Wow! itīs awesome that you made it work. I have bought this several times in hardcopy, and now lately when me and my GF wanted to play together I oculdnt get it to work on win7 , the mouse is frozen in the center of the screen for no apparent reason in multiplayer.
Children of Tyrone is one of the scariest missions, I couldnt agree more with you about it being the best tactical shooter of all times, I
hoped so much for Takedown red sabre, but it failed bigtime...even though its possible to tweak it to make it better.
Did you experience something similar Stardog with the mouse freeze in Swat4 ?

Ushiri, no sir. GoG has fixed it up so no problems.
They work their magic on these old games so they run on newer systems. Might be worth the $9.99 so you got yourself a new updated copy that works well.
