Digital Integration Tornado again. 1 hour mission planning, 15 minutes flight time weaving through the various waypoints whilst hugging the terrain and 2 seconds ejection time once the SAM hits. Repeat cycle twice. Then rinse.

pfft... Mig21 would eat the F5's lunch!
IL2, SoW & SB for me.
Yup... and that lunch usually consists 20mm rounds and aim9p frag ;)
This is the F5's last look at the Fishbed right before the R-60 goes up his F5's tailpipe! ;D

Seriously thought, as westerners we look down on the Soviet aircraft because we are so sure of our supremacy. I know I was one of them. In recent years I have developed a great appreciation of Soviet technology. Is it as advanced as ours? No, but its bullet proof!
Hell we love to talk about our Mig killers in Vietnam. You know who the highest scoring ace of Vietnam was? Nguyne Van Coc with 9 kills Flying the Mig21. How about 2nd highest? Nguyne Van Bay at 7 also in a Mig21. 3rd highest?? Chuck Belvidere at 6 in a F4 then Nguyne Doc Soat at 5 also in a Mig21. There are several more American & Vietnamese aces at 5 after that.
Dont get me wrong, the F5 is a fine aircraft but It aint "all that & a bag of chips" LOL
Holy Moly, Longknife, you are right!
