Just a quick FYI if anyone's interested.
I did a quick test out of curiousity to see if AGW would run on Linux. For my test I used Linux Mint 18 running off a thumb drive.
I just installed Wine, launched the AGW installer, and ran the game. I did not try to enable background music.
No problems running it.
Hi BK
This is good news for the folks who run linux.
Thanks for posting this.

Thanks for testing this. I have had several reports of Schwerpunkt games running on Linux using the Win emulators. By design, we used ANSI Standard C and the Win32 API's to create the games. This has made them portable for many years. The only compatibility issues we have seen in 16 years are:
1. Old install programs that are a problem for Windows OS
2. The link to Help files (have to mod to your browser)
3. The link to music ( have to mod to your media player).
That is it!
