Very nice! I wish my man cave was as neat!
Whats the story on the Gurkha Kukri? It looks like an original.

Scimitar was my core role in the regiment Commander / Gunner still to build it but looks good in the box.

During my short time in the Royal Logistics Corps i was attached to 1 Gurkha Regiment in Bosnia and was issued a Kukri. It is indeed an original issued piece of equipment.

What's the story of/behind the unopened beer bottle?

What's the story of/behind the unopened beer bottle?
This was a bottle of beer that was made for a welcome home parade after Operation Telic 12 (Iraq).
The beer is now no longer drinkable but i still keep it on my shelf. It was made and presented to all regiments that were part of 7 Armoured Brigade (The desert rats) in 2008

Haha! I was intrigued by the beer logo and I thought it was a red kangaroo. After 30 minutes of googling "red kangaroo beer logo" none of the searches resembled the logo on the bottle. Then I googled "Armoured Brigade kangaroo beer" and a Wikipedia page link to 7th Armoured Brigade UK (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/7th_Armoured_Brigade_(United_Kingdom)) came up. I clicked on it and then I saw the red rat. Desert Rats. The same famed tough and gritty Desert Rats that were besieged by Erwin Rommel in the Battle of Tobruk, but then later kicked Rommel's butt back in North Africa. Then it all made sense to me. That's when it clicked. A rat, not a kangaroo! Was just about to post my find when you posted your reply.

You are correct its also reflected on my signature block
I also have a Non artical 5 for Pan Balkans but regulation prevent me from wearing this as i already have the Kosovo medal and the same with the ISAF medal as i have already been awarded a campaign medal for the same operation. The queens medal overides the NATO and other counties medals when presented to a member of Her Majesties Armed Forces.

Very nice Wilso. Well done! I especially like the headgear display. A hat/helmet for every occasion.
