My wife brings home all sorts of rubbish with her only excuse being it was on sale. "Honey why did you buy 10 boxes of detergent?" "It was on sale" "Yes but one box lasts us several months, you've bought 5 years worth of detergent here" "Yes but it was on SALE".
Oh & lets not even go there for shoe & clothing sales....

The Mirage is the best one I ever bought.
But it's still crazy expensive for a sale

I am looking forward to getting the Mirage. I was going to get it when it was released but I really want to fly the Isreli version which means I need the Nevada map which I have been holding off on getting until 2.5 (im still on 1.5.4) so i am going to save 40 bucks & buy them both. Impatient bastard that I am I will install 2.0 & fly it until 2.5 get released.
Yes the planes are very expensive but I dont think most ppl realize the amount of time it takes to make an aircraft. These guys arent getting rich. I worked with Ron (owner of RAZBAM) on the making of the A6 for FSX & it was crazy the total hours it takes. When you factor in all those hours & the couple thousand sales (if your lucky) you aren't doing much better than minimum wage when it comes out of the wash.
Ron & I parted ways before he got into DCS but I imagine with the royalties Eagle Dynamics wants he isnt doing much better.
