Title: DOW others Mission 2 Operation Picket

I have started to make the next DOW others Mission. Dates have not been set yet. Below you will find a brief idea of what the mission will have in it.

Blue force will be conducting a flanking maneuver to hit the enemy flank guard. To do this, Blue will have to scout obstacles and minefields. Blue will have to cover the breaching forces, breach, and gain a secure area on the other side. Blue forces will then scout/attack/penetrate through the enemy defensive lines. Blue force will consist of a Battalion minus at this point, with breaching and support units.

Red will be in a defense in depth, and will have to repulse the Blue forces attack. All red forces are playable vehicles.

Play testing, briefing, screen shots, and command orders still have to be made.

I will be concentrating on the briefing, a manning list, and once that is done, we will set out dates with all groups. When the date gets set, we will post up for all to see.

The earliest this might happen, would be 2 weekends from now. (Will see how those dates work for the groups).

I agree. Good to hear that this is finally kicking off. :)  I have been waiting it for a long time.

I am flexible about the dates but plz not Sunday 18/9 (SW vacation). Wifey would kill me if I brought the laptop to my vacation  :P

We are looking to set a date. Please reply if October 23rd will work. Need to fill positions once numbers are identified. I will post a mission brief within the week, and Manning list. Currently there would be a need for a command cell of about 3-4, engineer/artillery about 2-4, 1 CAV troop (DOW), 1 armored company (others).
So current timeline is to see if the 23rd of October works for most this week. Post briefing over the next week, then solidify Manning lists over the next two weeks. Final week set commander plans.
