Title: D-Day June 6th, 1944
Post by: Stardog765 on June 06, 2016, 03:32:19 AM
At this point in the early morning hours of June 6th, 1944 in France the U.S. Airborne drops had already taken place. The 101st and 82nd Airborne were already in combat trying to secure the causeways inland in preparation for the beach landing to come a few hours from now. This day is not an official holiday in the U.S. but one that changed the history of the world like few days in the history of the world ever have.

God bless all of those brave souls who lead the way from all of the Allied Nations.

Great 90 minute documentary, featuring interviews, plenty of information, nice graphics and animations. War is hell. Never forget the brave and the fallen.

One more video, a 48-minute D-Day documentary with war footage in colour!
