On Wednesday, June 1st, 2016 the DC-6 for X-Plane by PMDG will be released for the general public to purchase. This will be a "study sim" and not for the feint of heart. The software has some very cool features that make it easier for one person to fly in the sim. The price is still unknown, but I imagine it will be--again--not for the feint of heart, and $90 would not surprise me. I'm hoping for a lower price tag though :-)
Check out this hour-long preview by Froogle, a beta tester for the PMDG DC-6.
Happy flying!

Watched it......Very nice. Extremely detailed...Well it is PMDG.
This will be very expensive, which is understandable. A study sim at its best.
Thanks for posting Beef.....You get it yet?
What about now? lol
Very nice!
I look forward to it in FSX

Not yet, and not anytime soon. I want to focus on FSX for the time being. Though it is very tempting, as is IXEG's 737 Classic for X-Plane.
I think someone at PMDG is having a laugh...

That is not fair Beef. The X-plane version is cheaper :(
It's been released and the price is $69.99, which is better than I anticipated. If it had been higher I would not have the conflicting thoughts about buying this outstanding addon.
Must... resist.... urge to buy...
I've got to, Mister!
