On 03-06 October 2015, representatives of the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee Centre for Training and Expertise paid a visit to the NATO MP COE in Bydgoszcz. It is worth mentioning that the Dutch Centre has been developing e-Learning products since 2007 and delivers about 15 e-Learning products annually.

The aim of the meeting was to strengthen relations and exchange experiences concerning e-Learning developments in particular connected with the implementation of the Virtual Battlespace (VBS3). The Dutch e-Learning developers underlined that their experience shows that simulation systems such as VBS3, can greatly enhance not only the Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) but also the residential courses conducted at our Centre of Excellence. In both cases, those systems are the perfect solutions for case study scenarios.

The visit summed up with the expressed eagerness for further cooperation,
an example of which is the support of the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee experts in developing “The Introduction to the NATO Lessons Learned Process for the Military Police Staff” (the Centre’s second ADL course). This new ADL course
is intended to be offered on NATO JADL in January 2016.
