Hows about if I would be on enemy side helping AI in this one? I'm up for it. Anyways if I don't do nothing its still playable. Would it be alright?

This is possible, but I am unsure if it will be needed, as last time we did not do so well, even though we did a lot right as a group and as a mission.

Hurray for the Canadian shout out, Boo on the Dragoons! I won't be able to play as I'm away from home, but good luck. Don't make us look bad ;)

I will gladly be in CV90s  as usual if the mission is truly that difficult.  Recon task perhaps?

Also.. question.

Are CV9040s  B or C version? At top it says.. C.. and on vehicle list it says. B

Difference in those vehicles is that C has extra armor and hence less ammunition and only 6 infantry soldiers.

B can use same ammunition and programmable just same way as C but by default uses older ammo.

- - -

C model is better for scouting as its a little bit more durable, can fire machine gun from turret down. And since on scouting low ammunition count doesn't hurt.

B is good where enemy encounter is frequent, cause of lot off ammo and 1 man more in infantry. It lacks armor but It has 3 times more ammo and can use all the same ammunition as C.

I had to drop out before the end of the mission (everything closes too early in a small town) so I missed the end and AAR. I felt like I was having difficulty spotting targets the entire scenario, which I suspect was a combination of the enemy units being in very well picked battle positions and me playing on a laptop at the time. Also, top-attack missiles like the Javelin and Spike are totally unfair, and should be restricted to use against computer opponents only. ;) I'm not sure what we could have done differently, besides slowing down even more and advancing extremely slowly to try to spot enemy missile teams before they have a chance to fire and take them out with arty. One thing that might make it easier on the players would be to have the host set their "realism" to medium, which enables the little red marker on the map that shows where you lased last, which would allow players to more easily put reference points on the map. If SB allowed players to measure distances on the map things would be different, but apparently they consider having a ruler to be cheating?

Very good points Rotar!

I dont know what to do with Javelin teams. Those are very difficult, and we have to learn to deal with. I suspect, we could use FO teams to find them.  Scouting key locations with infantry could do difference. I had troubles to spot anything with normal infantry... and even more so at the night... when I could not use anything else than nightvision that doesn't show a thing.

As for medium realism. It could be most helpful especially for scouts.

I think the key is play with only 1 multicrew  tank platoon and a section of multicrew Cv90 as scouts, IA is very bad at detection infantry,

That could make difference as well yes. Especially at night time there is huge difference.
