I've been dabbling with a new series of COIN-style (Counterinsurgency) missions. These missions focus more on the partnership and coordination between dismounted forces and lighters vehicles. Some people have commented that these missions are better suited for ArmA - possibly, but the SB editor is extremely powerful and user-friendly, and I have faith that eSim will one day improve the dismounted aspect of the game. Additionally, the focus for these missions is the development of a plan, and the coordination and synchronization of combat power - not a limelight into the world of dismounted infantry within Steel Beasts.

Al Jabir Pass
The Taliban have seized the village of Al Jabir and are threatening to occupy a vital mountain pass. Your platoon must respond quickly to defend the pass and execute a counterattack to seize Al Jabir.

UAV Recovery
A UAV carrying sensitive information has crashed and a dismounted infantry platoon must be air inserted into the area to recover it. Simultaneously, a ground convoy has formed at the nearby Combat Outpost and must fight their way to the crash site.

Hi Apocalypse

I am glad you have faith.

Your missions are interesting and provide problems which require extra thought. I know the group have enjoyed some of your latest ones. Thanks for taking the time and putting in the effort to create these.

Regards
