This scenario is a simulation and does not have any political message.

Description:

Russian forces invaded the island of Altis early yesterday morning, without warning. The local government has reported brutality from the invaders, and has requested support from NATO forces. A US Navy ship has been diverted from exercise in the Mediterranean to assist. On board are special operation group who have been tasked by High command to infiltrated the island, destroy the Russian UAV, kill the Russian high ranking office and destroy the operations base which is believed to be situated near the castle. once the mission is completed, all members must extract.

I will be there. I can play anything but Squad Leader, and would rather not be a team leader, but I can do that if needed. Should be loads of fun.  8)

I tried again today to install the task force radio, and it has not been possible, I'll connect tomorrow before the mission in order to try fix it

I've made it in the end! I was able to came in at 11.00 GMT and had an awesome mission with you guys! Arma it's best played in company! Thanks for all the effort and I really hope to be there more, even if I have to say my job isn't leaving me much time, and the Colonel (R) here at my house could (and should ;P) want priority!!

Thanks to all, especially who brought up all this coordination success! from posts to scenario.

Few teething issues but we won out in the end.

We need to use basic radio voice procedure and be aware of when to talk and not to talk on the radio.
Great leading by Durham and all round great team effort, especially when we split into fire teams and co-ordinated our attack.

Renders, Lusik, Colebrook, Cougar, Asid and Durham thanks for attending the posted mission will be played next Friday 2200GMT.

And finally:

As we progress we will look at using ACE , reducing spawn points and in longer respawn times.

Sorry that my RHS was all messed up. It will be fixed for next time. This mission was a lot of fun, and next time we could do a different way to get off the island if it is not a random spawn point every time.
