Mission Summary :
Your Company is responsible for seizing an initial foothold in the area, and securing the vital highway intersection as well as a Rail Yard that will facilitate further offensive operations.

Excerpts of the battalion commander's (HAVOC 6) orders for...BLUEFOR (D.O.W.)

1) SITUATION:
Your Company is responsible for seizing an initial foothold in the area, and securing the vital highway intersection as well as a Rail Yard that will facilitate further offensive operations.

a) Enemy:
   The enemy is defending in sector with a Battalion-sized element consisting of T-62 tanks, BMP-1's and dismounted infantry forces. The enemy also maintains a reserve Company (-) that can reinforce the area in 15 minutes.

Authors note:

The NZ-LAV is equipped with modern 25mm, and not the default 25mm ammo.
The NZ-LAV uses a 2-part fire control system. Right Mouse BUtton engages the Laser Range Finder, but the Center Mouse Button engages the Fire Control System. You must lase something, then engage the fire control system to produce accurate fire.

The M113's are equipped with TOW-2B's which are top-down shaped charges - they are extremely effective against the OPFOR in scenario, that are using T-62's.

I think the guys will do great. The LAV is something we don't use often, and its effectibe employment is essential to the success of this mission.
