Introduction@amalhama is a freaking genius! He reversed engineered the original source code of Digital Integration's Tornado 1.0e with the European campaign and Operation Desert Storm with the help of the original Tornado 1.0a source code and an amazing LLM. He was kind enough to share the SVGA source code with me. I've spent the better half of my Saturday weekend here is haze-afflicted Kuala Lumpur to add in features into his already fantastic SVGA Tornado 1.0e. Features which I never could have dreamed were possible in the original Tornado. All because we now live in an age where one can create an open source version of Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite. In an age where it makes my 10 years of slaving over hand-crafting assembly mods look like a waste of time. An age where one can work on software development at the speed of The Flash. If only the original Digital Integration development team of Tornado had their hands on such tools! What an age to live in!

I asked the AI to redesign the palette colors of Tornado, in the spirit of Saving Private Ryan and WW2 movie cinematography. Here is the result.

It's essentially the same 1994 Digital Integration Tornado 1.0e, but with SVGA graphics, swappable in-game colours and revamped colours, with quite a number of modded features. Hope you like these pics!
Cheers!
