This technology for aircraft developers allows efficient, variable, and clear cockpit lighting.

Technical Information

The RealLight technology integrates into the model of the aircraft directly. It also allows for complete customization of the lighting intensity and behavior.

Using local variables (L:Vars) specified in the RealLight configuration file, night lighting textures can be used and blended on the fly to create full cockpit lighting with minimal to no code required by the developer.

TFDi Design does not require access to the source model, but the developer implementing RealLight into the aircraft does.

Note: RealLight does NOT create dynamic 3D shadows of cockpit parts.

Compatibility and Requirements
RealLight is compatible with the following environments.
•   Lockheed Martin Prepar3D v4.X on Windows Vista and later (x64)

The following items are requirements for RealLight.
•   DirectX June 2010 runtime
•   Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 Runtime (x64)

Pricing
RealLight is available under the following pricing models.
•   For products released as freeware or at no cost to the recipient of the product, RealLight is free to use.
•   For a commercial product, RealLight is available for $2100 USD.

Volume discounts may apply if licensing multiple technologies simultaneously.
