Mission Summary :
Enemy forces are attempting to capture and hold the town of Nowabad.

1) SITUATION:
Summer 1990
Intelligence suspects that enemy forces are massing to attack the town of Nowabad. The town has been used as a junction for two main allied MSRs in the area. If enemy forces are able to take this town then allied supplies will be majorly disrupted. Set up a hasty defence before the enemy forces attack and ensure that the enemy forces do not capture the town.
a) Enemy:
You will be facing the 118th MRB. The enemy is a determined force with modern Russian AFVs. S-2 believes the 118th is at about 90 percent fully mission capable equipped with T-80s as a flanking force.
b) Own:
Your units will be two platoons of M1A1 tanks and one Section of M2A2 Bradley. There will also be reconnaissance elements that will be attached to you

2) MISSION:
Conduct a hasty defence and destroy any enemy forces that advance in your area to attack the town of Nowabad
3) EXECUTION:
1. Deploy your units and your 4 battle positions as far North at the 44 Northing grid line.
2. Don't forget to deploy the 4 tank BPs (grid 772 419) that are in your area.
3. Shift your forces to counter any enemy flanking movements until enemy forces are destroyed.
4) TERRAIN AND WEATHER:
It's early morning with slight mist but visibility should improve quickly once the temperature rises.
