Excerpts of the battalion commander's orders for the Swedish - Finnish Taskforce

1) SITUATION:
Two days ago in a fierce fight we succesfully defeated enemy units in our AO. Now the enemy has had time to regroup and an attack is immediate.
a) Enemy:
Enemy mechanised battalion is grouping for an attack EAST of our AO.

Enemy recon units have been spotted crossing the small river of Truden half an hour ago and the battalion main force is expected to be following them.
Expected enemy force: 3 -4 x Mechanised companies with attached Tank platoons.
Enemy also has plenty of artillery available.

Enemy force consists of T-72B3s and BMP-2s.
Expected enemy avenues of approach is marked on map

b) Own:

Friendly mechanised taskforce is in defence between PL Road and PL Uppland.

2nd and 3rd Mechanised companies have just arrived in the area and are preparing their defence on our northern and southern sides




2) MISSION AND EXECUTION:

Plan out your defence and defeat the enemy battalion.

Today we are proud to announce Update 4.0 - Red Star Rising, a major milestone for Squad that will see the addition of our 10th playable faction, the Peoples Liberation Army
(PLA). We know that you have been expecting them to join the fray for a while now and we are excited to see you soon get to play them!

The PLA will be added to Squad with update 4.0 on December 7th, 2022



The Peoples Liberation Army, originally called the Red Army, encompasses mainland Chinas land, sea, and air forces and is the largest military force in the world today. In Squad, this new combined arms faction features seven new vehicles, fifteen unique weapons & deployables, and a devastating bombing run Commander ability. We are also expanding our localization efforts with the addition of Simplified Chinese.
