What style of play do you want from ArmA?
Please read carefully.
Do you want casual? Option 1
Like the stand alone game Insurgency? Just a loose mission with a basic objective. Casual comms. Possibly no command structure. Respawns allowed.
Immersive? Option 2
Like our SB DOW missions. These would require a certain amount of experience by the player. The experience can be gained by attending structured tutorials or by playing single player. The reliance would be on single player skill progression. You would be required to learn the UI, work as a team and use a comms procedure. The missions would be detailed with a brief and command structure. There is the possibility of only ONE life per player. You die. Then you are out. This is more immersive and requires more commitment. If you do not have the basic required skills then you cannot take part in a mission like this.

1:) whish to learn things to make things immersive

just kidding obviously but wanted to point a clear remainder that immersive things have stuff to be set, manuals to read, procedures to follow. I'm totally up to it since september comes back and i'll be back home a little more. But we do have to forget to have things done everytime by others and start being autonomous as much as we can, then we can ask help and shortcuts.
And if you come in some channel and someone is playing,
1) check the forum ( ;P ),
2) always ask yourself if you might be disturbing,
3) ask others if you are disturbing,
4) ask your question, but think, before doing that, the answer 90% of cases could be already on the forum.
5) if you can't join for the various reasons, please stay silent (this has obviously exceptions for casual games, relaxed environments etc.) just listen what's happening in the room and adapt.
I say this to everyone including myself. stop asking! start answering, as soon as you can! we definitely need a kick as a group. we have the potential but we need to stick together. always.
