That is a first episode of document named

Tanks born in Russia.

In short.
This document is about two noods who get to work in the factory assembly line, and will get peek to bit of everything that is done there.
But as well as they progress there in factory, its as well about their life's, and culture in there.

So its not all about the tanks but more about the factory and life there, but you will see some tank porn as well. just not as much as you probably hope for.
Also it will not show all tanks. Mainly how t72 will get a new life. Basically how it is modernized.

Wife: "Usually people drink champagne at romantic dinners and here we are drinking coffee and cognac"

Husband: "well yeah. Why not?

Wife: "Lets try to remember what day it was yesterday."

Husband: "hmm"... scrratches head.

Wife: What date was it?"

Long pause.....

Husband: "our anniversary"

Wife: "unexpected huh?"

Husband: "Oh, honey, I'm sorry. It completely slipped my mind."

Wife: "I see?"

Husband: "What?"

Wife: "Nothing..."

Uh Oh.... Hes in
BIG trouble.

lolol

It would be great if there was more focus on the tanks rather than the relationships of the workers.

Thanks for posting though :)

Im in episode 5... or got that far last night. (eheheh)

If one has watchful eye he can spot pretty much interesting details and things from there. So far to me it looks like it is mostly about the factory, and... daily life in russia as factory worker.

It reminds me quite lot of how life at the Finnish combine harvester factory Sampo-Rosenlew was when I used to work there. Much like that. And hard work too. That in there with tanks looks so similar. I could almost think applying  :P   maybe not. I think I like more driving forest machines.

You know.. working in assembly line.. you just put pieces together. So...  even if we would see something that would be great interest. We probably wont know, we just see yet another part to be installed. And that is how it looks to me.. a lot of interesting stuff there in front of our eyes at this document.. but no a word of those.

As for me.. I really like this document, and to see how casual it is to build these t72:s.

This documentary is superb. It gives me a taste of life in Russia. Love the graphics, animations and the engaging style of cinematography. Best line is: "I want to be a child again and play with all these toys (in the playstore)". Second best line: "I'll buy it (white pram) when she cools down."

It is better than most of the "reality" stuff on TV here  ::)

Better than most reality stuff here.... Yes reality, definedly in that category. Its fun to watch, but do not expect the training and the way they work to be realistic. Much mistakes in their work. These guys are actors. One guy going to a part without clearance is not okay, but not a mayor offence. Doing such under work time is a big nono. Smoking on the workfloor? In their area? Ever seen a grease fire? Big no no. for beginers, thats a seccond strike. In a european factory or a shipyard in the netherlands they would be out. And I have been in a lot of them. Tinkering in the stuff of your boss? Out. And this is russia, not europe. One strike out policy...

Also you see they slow down mayor for the training. These guys dont even have basic skills and moan a lot. Cursing is okay but dont stop and continue, these guys stop and moan.

Its fun to include a bit of the factory workers lifes. But atleast show real stuff. Not scripted stuff. I worked with russians and I loved it, but this is not how they live or comunicate during work. Most of them work hard and rather die than moan or tell you that they couldnt finish their job properly.

I still like the series for as long as I can stand the scripted stuff. soo 15 minutes a day tops with a lot of skipping. It shows the line and the insides of a t72. That is very cool. Its just that I need to overcome my hate for realty tv to stand watching it longer...
