Title: Failed TANKS mission

I'm really sorry about all the multiplied troubles in this particular mission guys. Im really really sorry.

Like said.. I scrached it up in 1.5 hours...  in nearly panicked state.

Although I knew what I wanted, and what was to be done I still managed to make bunch of fatal mistakes. Most of them actually after the main effort.. where I was just fine tuning mission.

I added there ending conditions on ver 2...   that completely screwed mission start.

and on version three..  I  took some of the enemies away and adjusted timing...   that cause that there was too little enemies to actually force us to retreat. (We did that much, better than AI on test that I did.)

Also... 

When I started hastily fixing... I just made some things worse, and worse...  and eventually we had a mission...  where all the enemies... will come at 15m time..  all same time..  and will advance to our front line and stay there waiting for mission time to hit 60minutes...  so...  really sorry guys. 

We had some good moments there though..  Wilso got very scared at that one point..    and then we had quite a shooting range there...  but it certainly didn't match what I had planned it to be. My aim was that we would have been forced to retreat to other side of airfield and try to defend it with last resorts.

So  once more. I'm really sorry. And next time I will make extensive testing before I take any mission to be played.

Please stop apologising as we all make mistakes. We all had fun tonight and keep bringing the missions your self, con and cougar make great missions.

I know that it's ok to you guys and I appreciate it and I'm very thankful for you guys.

However if we want to enjoy our games and to have em better there needs to be certain quality and issues need to be addressed that we can improve.

It's no good if failures would be shoveled under mattress.

Reason why I posted this is as well that others acknowledge harm that comes when missions are not properly tested. And the irritable feeling that gets to player when they need to start again and again.... especially if they would be in a hurry with lack of time.

Even when this mission was playable in the end... and not... bad? I'd wish we would avoid something like this if possible and do what we can to make thing better.


Speaking of which... we will need a mission for next Sunday s well... and 4.0 should be out by then. So it can and likely will cause some trouble.

And I had a chance to join from the start of the mission. ;) It was a good practice in ling range gunnery.  No worries brah :D

Yea from  third start. >.<

You did great though. I was pretty sure we were doomed when I saw that 2st wave was coming from our sector.

I lost 1 AI killed them selfs and was left with 2 i was sure on the first wave we were doomed 😖😖😖
