Post by: Crielaard on July 17, 2019, 11:54:00 AM
Is it possible to load a texture? Instrad of the mono blue/red/green color. And how?

Hi Crieeland, it is currently not possible to apply any texture on objects. Tacview is designed to produce a synthetic representation of the battlefield; it was not created to display photo-real scenery.

However we are considering including this in Tacview 2.0.

Happy flying  :)

Hi!

The reason I was asking, is I was thinking of a texture in tacview to see which wire was caught on the carrier on landing, based on the area where the jet stops. (DCS)

Or is there a way to see that in TacView?

Hi Crieeland,

I think I understand now that you are talking about the LSO add-on. This add-on is actually currently unfinished which is why some features are missing. We'll get it finished up ASAP!
