House rules for SOW WL Working document.

This list will be updated. The intention is to keep the sessions immersive, realistic and fun. The engine does have limitations so we try to address that.


1. No turning off trees. Keep the fog of war.

2. A player can't scout more that 200-250 yds. away from his troops. If he wants to go farther, he must be in the presence of a regiment of cavalry or a skirmish battalion.

3. Do not set up your guns in woods or heavy woods. Light woods or orchards are OK.
Try to keep cavalry out of woods or heavy woods. This is not always easy as they have a mind of their own.
