Greetings, I have made several mods for several games (Gary Grigsby's War in the West, War in the East 2, Norm Kruger's The Operational Art of War and/or other game systems, i.e. the WDS games PzC, PzB, NB, ACW and also messing with making maps, UI and counters for various VASSAL modules).

Well this morning Ron's blue ocean was just getting to me and I wondered if I could do something a little different a little more like my beloved board wargames from the 1970s. So I started with the three big maps and then started a test site (France) to see if things looked okay).

For the individual map sections there are currently 4,219 map files to mod, so far I have only modified 46 of them and it has taken me in the two timed sessions 3:24 and 3:18 minutes to modified/tweak 12 images. So someone smarter than I can figure out how many hours it will take me (PLEASE DON"T TELL ME! LOL :D). I still have 4,173 files to go...

At any rate here is a screenshot for each view and the test strip I have done thus far. Any feedback is welcomed but once I set about with the current mix of colors I don't think I'll be going back to redo stuff, just way too many files to go over.

Falcon BMS 4.37 Update 5 is out!
Dec 1, 2024

Falcon BMS 4.37 Update 5 is out!

The new Update 5 for Falcon BMS 4.37 is out (4.375.0)!

Grab your updaters to get this new release.

Falcon BMS 4.37.5
Known Limitations / Issues

* Mirrors will only show once canopy closed
* Limitations with alpha sorting (you might see transparency issues in cloud, fog, trees, lights, ?)
* F-15C: The HUD SYM switch is still tied to the drift CO callback. The clicks work fine, but the callback for the switch is wrong
* Due to format changes, the avionics configurator will not work anymore? Need to do it manually in *.txtpb format files

Breaking Changes

* As usual, Falcon BMS.cfg is restored to default
* Make sure you check your F-15C keyfiles (updates done)
* OpenXR Toolkit will NOT work and will cause BMS to crash (please remove / disable the tool as it is discontinued)

Data Changelog

---- 4.37.5.0 (Base) ----
-- Falcon cfg is reset --

* Multiple documentation Updates (#973) (#987) (#996) (#1003) (#1004)

World War II Europe 1939-1945 Updated to v1.0.13
24 Nov 2024

Just released v1.0.13

The new version has scenarios 81 and 88, which completes the East Front Scenarios.

How to get the new version

Navigate on Drop Box to the same link I provided you when you purchased, and download the two files. The larger one is the new version, and the smaller one is a readme text file listing the changes. Contact me if you have lost the link, and I will provide you the link if you are in our database.

If you do not have a link to download the new version, just send me an email at schwerpt@gmail.com and I will reply with the download link.

Hope everyone is doing well.

As for NASA, speculation is always in play. We are continuing to work on the Artemis Program, with the Artemis II mission in test. It will be a repeat of Artemis I, but with a crew onboard. Artemis III will have a Human Lander System, and will sortie on the Lunar Surface.

Thanks,
Ron
