So I know I just got this last weekend and have played/or am playing 3-4 scenarios and just started my first pbem game with Gary and am having a blast but any idea if a V1.0.12 will be out for the end of year?

Sorry, that's probably a bit narky. But we've waited for so long for this to be finished & we're not really getting the answers about that. Over 6 years now for me & it's not that Ron is too busy to post is all I'm saying.

I can understand your dissapointent.
Whenever there is a small development team, or in this case a sole developer it can take a considerable amount of time to complete or even progress a project. many times the project is a "personal passion" of the developer and is never actually completed.....

FWIW I do think Ron means to finish, but I would not mind knowing when (esp. the main campaign).

It's not the game delay, it's the lack of comms. it only takes a minute to drop in and type a line, to say the game, and the sole developer still has a heart beat.

Good morning. You guys are right, I should be posting status more often. My part of Artemis I is now complete. In the background, I have been working on the game, specifically the East front scenarios. These scenarios are the only items left for v1.0.12.
I finally got a vacation this week (first one since Christmas), so i intend to post status on Sunday night since there are several days during this vacation where my focus is the game.
Please accept my apologies.

I also put a note in the calendar I use for NASA work. I will be posting status at the end of each month from now on.

Sunday night, and as promised, here is the current status of v1.0.12. The game code changes have been posted before, and there is no change on the functions that were added. My plan is to build all of the East Front Campaign scenarios, then release this next version. The game already includes #102. I will add code changes based on user feedback and a few more scenarios for v1.0.13.
#42 East Front Blitzkrieg 1941 - Complete (you have had this one for a while)
#52 East Front - Winter offensive 1941-1942 - Complete
#57 East Front Blitzkrieg 1942 - 90%
#64 East Front - Winter Offensive 1942-1943 - Complete
#72 East Front - Summer/Fall Offensive 1943 - 30%
#81 East Front - Winter Offensive 1943-1944 - 30%
#88 East Front - Summer/Fall Offensive 1944 - 30%
#95 Germany 1945 - 20%
Note that the game already includes Game Status and Scenario Selection information for all of these scenarios. They have all been built. However, the unit information, city ownership and expected points are in work for the ones not shown as complete.
This is not as much progress as I had hoped for, but my day job has been very demanding as I have a role in the Artemis Program. Call me sometime in the evening and I will let you know.
Retirement (which was planned to be six years ago!) and focus on Schwerpunkt is now planned in April 2026.
Hope everyone is doing well. Someone earlier posted about my social media habit. I can address that. Yes, I am on FaceBook and go for beach walks after work to relax, and I post pics. I am a divorced single guy, so I meet the ladies this way. :-) Celibacy is not conducive to wargame development. You can quote me.
