Iron Front: Liberation 1944 is set in Southern Poland during Soviet summer offensive. The single player campaign can be played from either German or Soviet perspective. The Soviet campaign focuses on breaking through enemy's defenses. On the German side, the mission is to slow down the advance of the Soviet army. Campaigns start with infantry action but later on the player gets to control tanks and planes. These include for example Panzerkampfwagen IV, Königstiger, IS-2, Focke Wulf 190, Stuka and Petlyakov PE-2.[3]

The multiplayer side includes both co-operative missions and player vs. player missions such as Capture the Flag, Deathmatch, Attack and Defense and Blitzkrieg.[3][4]

The game also includes a comprehensive and extensive[4] mission editor, enabling players to create their own missions and share them online.[3] Modding possibilities in Iron Front: Liberation

That looks cool!

I am loving ARMA3 but have little interest in the futuristic stuff. This looks right up my alley!

You say this is for ARMA2. What do you have to do to port it to 3?

It's not for ArmA 2 it's a standalone that uses the ArmA 2 Engine ( as per title states)
The complex part is porting it across to make it work properly on ArmA 3 the version I was using is standalone.

I have it Wilson, had it for some time now, just need to re-install it again to my new OS.

Itīs real nice I enjoy it, it dose have some bugs to it like most of the old Arma stuff but it works.  Wish we could do some online with this!

Arma III has a free mod or alike that lets you use the Iron Front gear in Arma III. It used to be a mod but now I think its just a free app for Arma III.

I also have Arma III but as some, I would like a WWII ambient better, thatīs why I bought Iron Front.

If you have Arma III, all you need is the IFA3Lite mod...

The IFA3Lite mod is a bit downgraded from the original IF but it still looks good and you donīt need Iron Front.

No fancy sights or laserīs  ;)
