I also thought I would not need DLC , but a game this good you want all the DLC you can get. this is the best wargaming feeling I have felt since I first played steel panthers, I cant recommend this game enough. they have priced it in parallel with the other games with similar engines they sell but truth is it should be there most expensive

Want and need are sometimes the same for a wargamer  :sifone . There are free mods available which gives a lot of options.

I agree with what you said about FOG2. I like the clean play style. There are a few DLC on the horizon.

There is also a great multiplayer option  :thumbsup

I once played steel panthers the free version, as I played I was totally feeling this is the game I ve been waiting for, it was the best wargame id ever played, I then bought SP generals edition and SPMBT and SPWW2, I still get drawn into them often.

your wondering why I'm talking about SP in FoG2 thread, well I had bought a few games with the FoG2 engine and they were a nice game but don't play much, I decided at gog sale today id buy because there seemed to be plenty of scenarios and a generator. I was shocked how good this game was, it felt like a real battle, the units got stuck-in but the fight was visibly easy to follow( I have found other games that get into close combat turns into a mob of mess) FoG2 really feels like your in control and moveing units to actualy flank & being sneaky etc... the different units have plenty of tactical differences making each battle a little bit more interesting. I also thought I would not need DLC , but a game this good you want all the DLC you can get. this is the best wargaming feeling I have felt since I first played steel panthers, I cant recommend this game enough. they have priced it in parallel with the other games with similar engines they sell but truth is it should be there most expensive

Update 1.504
Battle Fleet: Ground Assault - MythicalCity

This is a small update that mainly addresses performance of the fog of war system to increase framerate when the fog is getting updated (ie when units are moving or when a battle starts).

We're also working on a secret new feature and will be doing some testing with this version as it lays the groundwork for it. More on that in future announcements :)

Update 1.503
Battle Fleet: Ground Assault - MythicalCity

The new v1.503 update is now live. This addresses a few bug and adds in the tank stats display in campaigns when you press the "i" button next to a tank in the Army Movement window.

- Added tank stats to army movement in campaigns
- Added tips about Transports for new players
- Fix to minefield card count not being show in the challenges section of unlocks properly
- Fix to AI tanks and transports moving off the map when they don't actually want to retreat
- Fix to AI transports being able to rotate after a move.. trucks can't do that :)
- Fix to proper artillery icons not being displayed in lists
- Fix to Netherlands territory movement to Western Germany
- Added a few new destructible buildings (used mainly in Ruhr)

Thanks to everyone who reported bugs and congrats to last week's Weekly Multiplayer leaderboard winner "Barberousse"!

Test Version of V0.180
20 May - KK Game Studio

Hello everyone,

As we mentioned in the previous announcement, the ETA release date for v0.180 was planned in one week. Unfortunately, we still need a little bit more time to test the new features, but we decided to find a solution to make the situation better.

We will upload the version which we have now to the Beta Test branch so you can download and give it a try if you wish. (Steam will not force you to download the game as we didn't replace the default downloadable version. You need to manually opt into the beta version to play it) The new version of the game is not compatible with your old saves so if you opt into the Beta Test you will need to start over. We really don't want you to lose all your progress every time we update, so we decided to plan carefully this time and try to put any features which can break the saves into one or two updates. So you will be free from losing progress in the future.

We do encourage you to wait for a few more days to one week. So you can enjoy a much more polished version of 0.180.

Thank you for your understanding and enjoy!

To Opt Into the Test branch.
Launch the Steam Client. Go to the LIBRARY tab. Right click on Freeman: Guerrilla Warfare and select Properties. Then click the BETAS tab. Then select "test-Test Version" from the drop-down and close the window. Then update the game and you are ready to go. You can opt out at any time to get the default version of the game.

You can find more info about what we added to the test build here https://www.freeman-game.com/blog-1/what-we-have-been-working-on

You can also check out this gameplay by Reformist, which will let you see how this version feels like :)
