"P3D v4.4 is out and brings a host of long awaited features for developers, including PBR. There are of course many important addition on the programming side which will enable us to produce great features more easily than it was in the past.
With new possibilities opening up, we decided that we will drop support for the 32-bit platforms (FSX-P3Dv3), with the exception of the F-4 and Midway which will receive their last patches and remain as-is. This will allow us to focus our resources on higher quality products and potentially expand into other platforms in the future, as things seem to become more uniform."
