Title: SABOW: Night and lighting effects

Check out these lighting effects. The attention to visual detail in this sim is astounding.

Kaboom! Soviet tank T-62 lets loose a SABOT round in the night. The area around the muzzle flash illuminates, revealing the ground details. Superb.

Zoomed out view, 0.5 seconds after the shot is released. Ground is illuminated again.

These screenshots don't even capture half of the lighting experience in SABOW. Best viewed in-game. Seeing these lighting effects reminds me of the first time I played Jane's Longbow II where I fired a pair of Hellfire missiles at night.  Like this ...
