I learned about this kickstarter (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1696861912/empire-deluxe-combined-edition?ref=email) awhile ago and simply had to back it. I didn't play Empire (http://www.mobygames.com/game/mainframe/empire__), but I played a lot of Empire Deluxe (http://www.mobygames.com/game/dos/empire-deluxe) back in the day.
