Hello,
Is there a negative or positive effect on a battle if the HQ is part of the battle (the combat
factors are used as part of the calculation)?

The number of HQ units is calculated and gives 1/2 AF malus to attacker and 1/2 DF malus (if more than 1 HQ) to the defender
