Hello, Feudalists!

First of all, just letting you know that we are still very absorbed by the work on the much-awaited market fixes and improvements. We want to make sure that these changes will adapt properly and wont cause any new issues, which is why its taking a bit longer.
Other things that we are preparing are the changes for Halloween that will take effect next week. This time, the Hermit monks bear horrid news: all the signs are showing, that this time its the Gloom whos got to play with the fates of the mortal inhabitants of Abella! Hes filling the wild Knools with blood-boiling rage and an insatiable hunger for all those who seem to be a fitting sacrifice for their bloody rituals. Travelers should beware of their razor-sharp weapons and unholy witchery. However, the brave warriors who will decide to oppose them will see that gods not only punish but also reward those skillful and daring enough.

BMFA to become an unpaid drone tax collector?

If the latest diktat from CAA UK is to be believed, the British Model Flying Association may well end up becoming an unpaid drone registration and tax collection agency for the UK government. Is this acceptable? I think not -- but your opinion may differ so share it in the comments below.

Also, what did you think of the "quality" of that document? Contradictions, factual errors, a lack of attention to detail?

Does that inspire confidence that your data will be safe in the hands of the CAA should you register as a drone flyer or operator?

Will you be registering? If the BMFA is forced to hand over your details to CAA and you are presently a member, will you be resigning?

And let's see how long (if ever) it takes them to fix the obvious mistake in regards to the fee for registering as an Operator :-)

An army marches on its stomach: Napoleon Bonaparte was right, but speaking of our games, we should misquote to our armies march on their rectangular bases. There is nothing more disappointing in seeing a well-painted army on poorly rendered bases Ive seen with my eyes tournament armies with their infantry merely stuck to the brown Battefront bases!

Basing your miniatures is not that difficult. First of all, you need a plan. For example, all my Flames of War Mid armies and my Team Yankee lists have two infantry platoons, as I really like to play with massed infantry. For this reason, I try to base the two units with a different landscape, so I can tell them apart at a glance, even when they assault the same target and mix up. For example, my US Armoured infantry platoon 1 is mounted on urban bases, while Platoon 2 is on rural ones.

We already discussed on how to do unique vehicles and tanks in your FOW army here. So, time to go for the foot soldiers!
