Recommendations for Starting
It is recommended that you select one of the smaller scenarios at first to learn the user interface and the game rules. Although there are similarities to parts of RGW, AGW and MDE, World War II Europe plays differently than all three. The user interface is significantly different. A unit with a small geographical area and small number of units is recommended. Some examples are any of the North Africa scenarios, or #43 Approach to Leningrad.
There is also YouTube video called RatR (Repulsed at Rostov) that describes game play that is of value in learning the game. Search under “Schwerpunkt wwiie”. Other YouTube videos are planned.
