Tigers Unleashed Beta v1.2.01 (Beta B5h) 17/04/18

Pleas Note: These patches are made publicly available by Dogs Of War Vu. They are not publicly available anywhere else. We do it to help the community.

This is a D.O.W. exclusive. This is another new Beta for Tigers unleashed.

This is a beta patch. All the usual caveats apply. You might get errors, lock-ups or crashes. Please report if you do. Do not download and install this patch if you do not accept that issues can arise.

Please give feedback if you have any suggestions or issues.

Download v1.2.01 (Beta B5h) (6.98MB): Click here

Install: (make backups first)
You will need the Tigers Unleashed Beta v1.2.01 (Beta 2) 17/07/17 applied first here
Extract the file, Beta v1.2.01 (Beta B5h).
Copy it into the install directory
Overwrite existing files.

Ostriv aims to raise the bar of city-building experience by adding a huge amount of possibilities and removing annoying limitations. It allows for truly organic town layouts without the grid and angle restrictions on a three-dimensional landscape. Steel Beasts ProPE - OBJ Leninade - A Russian T-72 Company in the Attack.


In my recent video ... Wait a second, you didn't see my video? Shame on you!





I wanted to share this tactical note I made for my own use. In the before mentioned video, I have a T-72 tank Company and I am to assault an American position (OBJ Leninade). During numerous tryouts, I consistently failed on that assault until I read the fine print of a document entitled "Soviet Tank Company Tactics" (available from a number of sources, please Google it).[/size





In the scenario, my critical error was how I positioned my support by fire (SBF) position.



OBJ Leninade and how to take it. Note the "bad SBF" and how close it is to the enemy tanks. The better alternative was to have my SBF mission some 1 km farther away from the Americans.
